May 2, 1999 was the 22nd Anniversary of America's Biggest Bike Tour! Even if you've visited NYC, you haven't seen anything until you've ridden it.
BIKE NEW YORK is the largest bike ride in the USA. Also known as the Five Boro Bike Tour, it passes through Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island in a single day, crosses the Verrazano Narrows Bridge (the world's longest single-span suspension bridge, normally closed to bicycles), and returns to the start point in Manhattan on the Staten Island Ferry.
